Chris Hite gives commencement speech for University of Georgia’s College of Environment & Design graduation

In 1987 Chris Hite walked across a stage to receive her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia’s College of Environment and Design, and this year, now as CEO of Dix.Hite, she delivered the 2020 commencement speech at a virtual graduation ceremony. Her advice to future landscape architects? 1) Embrace lifelong learning; 2) Surround yourself with great people who challenge you and who you can trust; 3) Always come to the table with a positive attitude; 4) Be open-minded to change; 5) Listen and take the time to observe things around you.
