Sheeba West

A native of Miami, Sheeba West has more than 20 years of landscape architecture experience in Florida and brings one main purpose with her to work every day: creating sustainably built places people enjoy. Her work focuses on parks, trails, complete streets and campuses, accessible shaded walks, and safe paths for pedestrians and bicyclists. She has extensive experience in public engagement work, including conducting workshops, walking audits, and virtual workshops. Sheeba worked for Dix.Hite from 2005-2008 and returned in 2021 as a principal in the firm. Sheeba received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Miami and her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. She is a licensed landscape architect in the State of Florida and an ISA certified arborist. In her free time, Sheeba loves to write and paint.
