Preston Sorrell

Preston is a landscape architect in our Birmingham studio. He completed both his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting and Management at Mississippi State University — before beginning his career as a designer and project manager. For Preston, landscape architecture is about the “aha!” moments: the lightbulbs that flick on after hours of sketching, discussing, researching, and collaborating, illuminating the best path forward. He prefers to spend his time outdoors, whether that means hiking in Red Mountain Park or testing sustainable landscape strategies in his yard to better understand successful approaches in design.
