Emily Stone
Emily is a designer in Dix.Hite’s Orlando studio. A sixth-generation Floridian, Emily was born in Palmetto, Florida. She toured the Southeast while earning her Bachelor of Arts in both Historic Preservation and Community Planning and Urban Studies from the College of Charleston, and eventually her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Florida’s landscapes are in Emily’s blood — her father is a fourth-generation Florida farmer — and she shares an ancestral passion for being a good steward of the land. Her role as a landscape designer allows her to continue this legacy while collaborating with others toward a shared goal. Emily is an active member of the Florida ASLA. In her free time, she enjoys trying out new restaurants with her husband or taking a dip in the ocean. In other words: enjoying the good life.
